Operator Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (AI First) at Unbounce

Builds and operates AI-driven FP&A workflows, automating recurring financial analysis and reporting while validating AI outputs for accuracy.

What this role involves

Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (AI First)

Department: Operations

Location: Remote, Canada or US

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM (in your time zone)

About the Role

Unbounce is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (AI First) to join our FP&A team. You’ll run our budgeting and forecasting cycles, prepare monthly reporting, support the accounting team through month-end close, and partner with teams across the business to answer financial questions.

This is an AI-native role: the outputs are familiar (an annual budget, a rolling forecast, a monthly reporting package, board metrics), but you will spend a meaningful share of your time building the systems that produce them rather than producing them by hand. Every employee at Unbounce has Claude, and our billing and accounting stack was rebuilt this year on Recurly and Rillet, so the data layer underneath you is new rather than inherited.

Concretely, when a recurring analysis takes four hours by hand, we expect your instinct to be to build the thing that does it in four minutes next month, and then to be the person who can tell whether its answer is right. The second half matters more than the first. Automation without judgment is worse than no automation, and this role owns both.

We’re after someone dependable and detail-oriented who communicates clearly and whose first instinct on a repetitive task is to automate it. You don’t need to have done every item on this list. If you’re strong in most areas and willing to learn the rest, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build and operate AI-driven finance workflows

  • Design, build and maintain the AI agents and automated workflows that carry the recurring FP&A load: variance analysis, first-pass commentary, cohort and retention analysis, board metric refreshes, and the routine data pulls underneath all of them.
  • Use AI as a default part of your workflow, across analysis, modeling, reporting, and commentary, within our team practices and data-handling guidelines.
  • Use Claude, which every employee here already has, to speed up analysis, automate recurring reporting, draft first-pass variance commentary, and pressure-test your own assumptions before numbers go out.
  • Build the context these agents need in order to be reliable: metric definitions, documented data lineage from source system to report, and explicit rules for how each number is constructed. An agent is only as good as the context it can reach.
  • Decide what should and should not be automated. Draw and defend the line between work an agent runs unsupervised, work an agent drafts for human review, and work that stays fully manual.
  • Own the finance team’s shared library of agents, prompts, skills and calculation templates. Treat it as a deliverable in its own right, versioned and documented, so that it keeps producing when you are on vacation.
  • Own what the tools produce, review AI-assisted work to the same standard as your own, and know when a question needs judgment instead. Build the checks in: validation against source, reconciliation, and a review step that catches a wrong answer before it reaches leadership or the board.
  • Raise the ceiling for the people around you. Some of your highest-leverage work will be enabling your business partners to answer their own questions rather than producing the analysis yourself.

Planning and forecasting

  • Prepare Own the annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecast updates, gathering inputs from department leaders.
  • Maintain the company’s financial model (revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash) and keep the key assumptions up to date. Structure it so that running a new scenario is a configuration change, not a rebuild.
  • Run scenario analysis to help leadership weigh decisions, using AI to build and iterate on cases faster than a manual model rebuild allows, fast enough to be useful in the meeting where the decision is actually being made.

Reporting

  • Own the monthly reporting package: actuals versus budget and forecast, variance analysis, and commentary. AI-drafted first pass, then edited and owned by you.
  • Help prepare materials for leadership and board meetings, including our key metrics and dashboards.
  • Work with the accounting team during month-end close to make sure results are accurate and on time.

Metrics and analysis

  • Own our core SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, net and gross revenue retention, churn, CAC, and LTV) and keep the definitions consistent.
  • Look at customer, product, and segment profitability and take the findings to the people who can act on them.
  • Build and maintain reports in our BI tools so teams can see the numbers they need, and so that analysts, dashboards and agents all draw on one trusted source rather than several competing ones.

Working with the business

  • Be the finance point of contact for Sales, Marketing, Product, and G&A, helping them manage budgets and understand spend.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics to scope reporting needs, so what we build answers the right questions.
  • Help evaluate the costs and benefits of proposed projects and investments.
  • Handle ad-hoc analysis requests as they come up.

A Little Bit About You

  • A reliable instinct for when a machine-generated answer is wrong. This is a very important qualification for this role.
  • Structured thinking: you can break a vague business question into defined, verifiable steps, which is the same skill that makes an agent work.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in real finance work. You can walk us through something you automated or accelerated, and how you checked the output.
  • Experience building AI-assisted workflows: prompt-based reporting, scripting, or connecting AI tools to finance data sources.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role. We weight demonstrated ability to build with AI as heavily as two additional years of conventional experience.
  • Experience at a SaaS or subscription business, or willingness to get up to speed on the model.
  • A good understanding of common SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, churn, CAC, LTV) and what drives them.
  • Solid financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills. Excel and Google Sheets are output formats here rather than the core skill; the core skill is breaking a FP&A question down precisely enough that an agent can run it reliably and repeatably.
  • A working knowledge of the three financial statements and subscription revenue recognition.
  • The ability to explain financial results clearly to people outside of finance.
  • Comfort with ERP, planning, and BI tools (e.g. NetSuite, Cube, QuickSight, or similar).
  • An understanding of how finance and business systems fit together and how data moves between them, and the ability to scope reporting needs with Data teams.
  • A willingness to work in the open, documenting what you build so that someone else can run it.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience partnering with Sales or RevOps on pipeline, quota, or go-to-market planning.
  • Exposure to headcount and workforce planning alongside the People team.
  • SQL or comfort working with larger datasets.
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA.

Our Stack

  • Every employee has a Claude account. Recurly for billing and Rillet for accounting, both implemented this year. QuickSight for business intelligence.

Share Our Values

  • Customer First
  • Bias for Action
  • High Velocity Decision Making
  • Inclusion
  • Results Focused

Compensation

Our compensation bands are designed to reflect how people grow in their roles. Each level includes three stages: Developing, Proficient and Expert, which represent increasing capability, independence and impact over time.

The compensation range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 CAD which reflects the Proficient stage of our compensation band for this job level (P3). For United States based applicants, the compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 USD.

Progression into higher stages and job levels may occur over time based on demonstrated performance, mastery of role expectations and overall impact. For specialized or hard-to-fill roles, we may extend offers above the posted range if a candidate brings exceptional experience.

Operator Senior Architect, Anthropic Enablement at Nimble Gravity

Lead technical pre-sales and enablement for Claude AI implementations, configuring agentic workflows, delivering demos, and designing hands-on training for enterprise engineering teams.

Senior Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Senior Architect, Anthropic Enablement

Remote | US

At Nimble Gravity, we help organizations turn data, AI, and technology into measurable business results. This role sits at the technical core of our Anthropic practice — leading the conversations, demos, and delivery sessions that show clients exactly what Claude Code and Claude Cowork can do, and where the next phase of work lives.

You’ll be the person in the room — often the only Nimble Gravity person in the room — with 20+ engineers or advanced knowledge workers who expect real answers, not a script. You’ll also be in the room earlier than that: on discovery calls and technical scoping sessions, helping prospects understand what’s possible before they’ve signed anything. This is a build-and-teach role. If you haven’t personally configured agentic workflows, written custom skills, or wired up MCP integrations, this isn’t the seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead technical pre-sales:Partner with sales and delivery leadership on active opportunities — run technical discovery, scope proof-of-concept builds, and deliver live demonstrations of Claude Code and Claude Cowork tailored to a prospect’s actual environment and workflows.
  • Deliver advanced technical enablement: Design and lead hands-on sessions for 20+ engineers or technical business users at a time — covering agentic coding workflows, custom skills, MCP server integrations, subagent orchestration, permission and tool-access models, and how to fit Claude Code and Cowork into existing engineering practice.
  • Hold technical ground solo: Field detailed questions on architecture, context management, tool permissions, data flow, security posture, and failure modes — live, without deferring to “someone technical” who isn’t in the room.
  • Frame the business case: Work with client stakeholders to identify high-value workflows, map them to what Claude Code and Cowork can actually do, and translate that into a business case business leaders will act on.
  • Spot and scope follow-on work: Treat every workshop and demo as a discovery exercise — identify where a client’s next engagement lives, and feed that directly into proposals, SOWs, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Build reusable technical assets:Create demo repos, sample skills, workshop curricula, and reference architectures that make every future engagement faster to stand up.
  • Navigate regulated environments: Advise financial services, insurance, and other regulated clients on secure, compliant configurations of Claude Code and Cowork — governance, audit trails, and data handling included.
  • Measure what matters: Track technical adoption depth, workshop-to-pipeline conversion, and follow-on scope generated — real numbers, not attendance counts.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, with recent hands-on depth in agentic AI systems — this is a senior architect–level technical role, not an enablement generalist role
  • Deep, current, hands-on fluency with Claude Code and Claude Cowork specifically — configuring skills, MCP servers, subagents, and permission scopes, not just familiarity from the outside
  • A specific, named example of something you’ve built with agentic AI tooling: a custom skill, an MCP integration, a multi-step agent workflow, a CI/CD pipeline with an agent in the loop
  • Proven experience presenting to large (20+) technical audiences and holding your own against skeptical senior engineers with no one else backing you up
  • Pre-sales or technical sales engineering experience — discovery calls, live demos, SOW scoping, or technical proposal input
  • The judgment to translate technical capability into business value, and to spot where automation or agentic assistance unlocks the next phase of a client’s work
  • A track record of turning technical sessions into scoped follow-on engagements — quantifiable in pipeline or expansion revenue, not just satisfaction scores
  • Comfort operating in regulated, enterprise environments, including security and governance review of AI tooling
  • The composure to demo or debug live, in real time, without a script

Strongly Preferred, Not Required

  • Direct experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry
  • Experience as a sales engineer or solutions consultant at an enterprise software or AI company
  • Contributions to internal Anthropic-based tooling — custom MCP servers, shared skill libraries, or agent orchestration frameworks

What You Will Do:

  • Design and build V as the primary agentic interface for getting work done across Vercel, from answering questions and analyzing data to executing complex, multi-system workflows.
  • Build the agent architecture that allows V to understand intent, plan work, select the right skills and tools, recover from failures, and complete long-running tasks reliably.
  • Ship polished experiences across Slack, web, and other surfaces, combining natural-language interaction with rich, interactive interfaces when chat alone is not enough.
  • Develop evaluation, observability, and feedback systems that measure whether V’s answers and actions are accurate, useful, efficient, and trustworthy.
  • Establish primitives that make it easy for teams across Vercel to contribute new capabilities without creating fragmented agents or inconsistent user experiences.
  • Help define what it means for a company to be operated through an agent and turn what we learn building V into ideas and infrastructure that can eventually benefit Vercel’s customers.

About the Role:

  • You have 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience and strong TypeScript proficiency.
  • You are comfortable working across product surfaces and system boundaries, from conversational UI and interactive data experiences to APIs, queues, databases, permissions, and production infrastructure.

  • You have a track record of openness and adaptability. You have moved into unfamiliar technologies, domains, or responsibilities and learned quickly. This space is changing too quickly for fixed expertise to matter more than curiosity and judgment.
  • Experience with using and building agent harnesses (OpenClaw, Hermes, Pi, etc) is a plus but not required

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote, Pakistan

The Role

Pixalate runs AI agents in production against real customer problems: agents that investigate invalid traffic (IVT) for clients, and analytics agents that let customers ask questions of our data directly. These agents are only as good as the instructions and skills behind them.

As an AI Prompt Engineer you own that layer. You will write and maintain the system prompts and the agent skills that decide how our agents behave: what they know, which tools they reach for, when they push back, and, critically, when they stop and ask the user a clarifying question instead of guessing. This is engineering work, not prompt tinkering. You will version your changes, measure them against evaluations, and be accountable for agent behaviour in front of real customers. You will work directly with the team building the IQ Agent and Analytics MCP, the client IVT investigator agents, and the MRT MCP.

What You’ll Do

Build and Own Agent Skills

  • Author and maintain Claude skills and plugins that define agent capabilities and behaviour
  • Design agents that ask clarifying questions and gather requirements interactively, rather than answering one-shot from incomplete information
  • Decide what belongs in a skill, what belongs in a system prompt, and what belongs in a tool
  • Maintain the skill library as products evolve, treating it as a living surface rather than a one-time build

System Prompts for Production Agents

  • Own the system prompts behind Pixalate’s client-facing agents: IVT investigator agents, IQ Agent / Analytics MCP, and MRT MCP
  • Version prompts and skills deliberately, with a clear record of what changed and why
  • Debug real agent failures: wrong tool selection, hallucinated findings, missed clarifying questions, context exhaustion

Evaluation and Measurement

  • Define what “correct” means for each agent and build evaluation suites that test it
  • Build ground-truth datasets from real customer scenarios and measure changes against them
  • Catch regressions before customers do

Context and Tool Design

  • Engineer context strategies: what the agent sees, in what order, within what budget
  • Work with engineering on MCP tool surfaces: which tools exist, how they are described, and how those descriptions drive correct selection
  • Tune for cost and latency as well as accuracy

Safety and Trust

  • Guard against prompt injection, data leakage, and unsafe tool use in customer-facing agents
  • Ensure agents represent Pixalate’s findings accurately and do not overstate confidence

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience building LLM agents that shipped to real users, not prototypes or demos
  • Hands-on work with agent skills, plugins, system prompts, or equivalent agent-behaviour tooling
  • Evidence of evaluation discipline: you can describe an eval suite you built, the ground truth behind it, and a regression it caught. This is the single most important qualification.
  • Strong written English. This role is writing, and the writing is the product.
  • Working proficiency in Python or TypeScript, and comfort reading the codebase your agents run in
  • Understanding of tool-calling / function-calling and how agents select tools
  • Awareness of prompt injection, PII handling, and the failure modes of customer-facing AI
  • Comfortable with some U.S. timezone overlap for team meetings
  • Ad-tech, digital advertising, or fraud-detection exposure is strongly preferred: programmatic, DSPs, SSPs, CTV, or IVT and ad fraud concepts. If you do not have it, you must be prepared to learn the domain deeply in your first 90 days, because agent quality depends on it.
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or similar tool-integration standards is a plus
  • Experience with observability and tracing for LLM systems is a plus
  • Experience with retrieval systems and their failure modes is a plus
  • Data analysis background, including SQL and working with large datasets, is a plus

Why Parloa?

We’re at the beginning of a new era in customer experience, one where AI doesn’t just respond, but understands, reasons, and takes action. We’re building agentic AI that enterprises trust with their most important customer moments: complex questions, high volumes, real stakes. When millions of people reach out to a brand, those interactions aren’t just support tickets; they’re defining experiences. We’re here to raise the standard: making every conversation seamless, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. If you care about shaping how businesses and customers connect at scale and want your work to matter in real, everyday moments, this is where you do it.

At Parloa, ownership isn’t a buzzword; it means being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. We operate in a category that’s evolving fast, where the bar is high, and the problems are complex. We hire people who think in solutions, communicate with clarity, and follow through. People who are comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising the standard for themselves and those around them.

We’ve grown beyond the earliest startup phase, but we’ve kept the intensity: fast execution, direct feedback, and a strong expectation to contribute meaningfully from day one.

Backed by leading global investors like General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, we’re scaling with a clear ambition: to become the global category leader in enterprise-grade conversational AI.

Parloa is committed to upholding the highest data protection standards for our clients’ and employees’ data. All our employees are instrumental in ensuring the utmost care, GDPR, and ISO compliance, including ISO 27001, in handling sensitive information.

Operator Operations Engineer at MUI

Build automated internal tools, data models, and AI-driven workflows across Finance, GTM, People, and Product to eliminate manual operational bottlenecks.

Senior Remote Posted 8 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Details of the role

  • Location: Remote (preference for UTC-6 to UTC+5).

  • Type of work: Full-time (contractor or employee depending on circumstances).

  • Level: IC4 Senior and above.

  • We’re a remote company, operating mostly asynchronously.

The company

MUI’s story began in 2014 with Material UI, the most successful React implementation of Google’s Material Design. This open-source project has paved the way for the fully-fledged startup known as MUI (founded in 2019), which now boasts an ever-expanding ecosystem of React UI products. We’re a company of 40 people as of 2026, and we’re growing steadily.

The products

MUI is best known for our flagship product, Material UI—but this is just one of the UI libraries we maintain. Material UI is complemented by advanced components through MUI X (Data Grid, Charts, Date and Time Pickers, Tree View) for more complex user interactions and data visualization needs. Base UI is our headless component library. We also host Design Kits and pre-built Templates.

The culture

MUI is a fully remote company with a team that spans the globe. The majority of our work is asynchronous, and we rely on written communication to collaborate. We’re radically transparent: a lot of our work happens in public. Each contributor has the freedom to decide how and when they work, and that work is primarily self-directed: it’s your responsibility to define and complete your own tasks in a timely manner.

For additional details about the culture, you can check our careers and about pages and also our public Handbook.

Why we’re hiring

MUI is scaling, but traditional business operations have become a strong bottleneck to our growth. The leadership team is spending too much time on manual, repetitive tasks, building spreadsheets, debugging ETL regressions, wiring SaaS tools together, firefighting operational issues, etc.

Rather than hiring a conventional IT team, we treat internal company operations as an engineering problem. We believe that applying systems thinking, modern software engineering, and AI automation directly to business operations will create immense leverage.

We are opening this role to act as a hands-on force multiplier across the organization—building zero-defect data models, automated internal tools, and AI-driven workflows across Finance, GTM (RevOps, Sales, Marketing), People, and Product.

Overall, both our open-source community and our premium products are growing fast. We need talented people to keep up with the demands of our exigent community!

Why this is interesting

  • Function as a modern hands-on CIO / Head of business systems: Instead of managing large corporate budgets or enterprise governance, you will directly apply software engineering (TypeScript, SQL, AI frameworks) to real-world business systems.

  • Massive organizational leverage: You will step into cross-functional gaps to eliminate operational bottlenecks, saving hundreds of hours of leadership time and accelerating company velocity.

  • High-agency autonomy: Operating without a rigid backlog, you will systematically map MUI’s cross-functional workflows using Lean principles, identify high-leverage opportunities, and build end-to-end technical solutions.

  • AI-first execution: You will be at the forefront of implementing AI agents, LLM tool integrations, and low-code orchestration engines to automate routine business tasks across every department.

Our products empower React developers to build awesome applications faster – we see millions of developers on MUI’s docs every year, one million a month.

The role

Key responsibilities

Depending on the day, you’ll:

  • Internal systems architecture & management (Modern IT/CIO): Own, maintain, and connect the company’s internal software stack—from CRM, billing, and Accounting platforms to internal databases and analytics dashboards.

  • AI & workflow automation engine: Identify, prototype, and build custom scripts (SQL, JavaScript), AI agents, low-code integrations (for example, Zapier, Make), etc. to eliminate manual tasks across People, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations.

  • GTM & RevOps technical execution: Partner with Sales and Marketing to streamline lead pipelines, customer data enrichment, conversion funnels, and customer-facing website updates.

  • Data Engineering & Operational analytics: Build and maintain data pipelines, operational dashboards, and data models to power strategic decision-making (for example, pricing model LTV analysis, product adoption telemetry, sales PO volumes, npm/GitHub ecosystem metrics, or OKRs progress).

  • Process engineering & Systems optimization: Apply the five core Lean principles and systems analysis to map company workflows, identify operational or financial bottlenecks, and build technological solutions to resolve them.

  • Technical force multiplier for Leadership: Serve as a direct execution arm for executive leadership—stepping in to resolve unowned, cross-cutting technical issues across products, vendor platforms, or internal operations.

Who we’re looking for

Required

  • High-agency & Cross-functional judgment: Self-directed problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and can prioritize among many opportunities. See Manager of one.

  • High conscientiousness & Detail rigor: Strong commitment to eventually reach no-defect execution; double-checks everything, maintains immaculate documentation, focuses on friction-free user experiences.

  • Modern business Tech Stack management (CIO/RevOps): Technical mastery over core SaaS ecosystems (Salesforce/HubSpot, Stripe, NetSuite/Xero, Segment, GitHub/npm APIs).

  • Full-Stack engineering: Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL; can quickly build internal tools, scripts, and API integrations.

  • Systems & Process engineering (Lean/Systems thinking): Ability to map cross-functional workflows, spot operational bottlenecks, and apply Lean principles to eliminate non-value-added steps.

  • Data engineering & Analytics architecture: Track record of designing reliable data pipelines, maintaining zero-defect data models, and delivering actionable BI dashboards (Revenue, LTV, PLG telemetry). For example, ensures data & financial models match to the cent.

  • Workflow automation & AI agents: Hands-on experience with modern AI workflows (LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, function calling) alongside low-code orchestration engines (for example, Pipedream, Make, Zapier, n8n).

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years spent building internal tools, data pipelines, or cross-functional business automation.

Nice to have (but not required)

  • Prior experience as an early-stage startup founder, Technical Operations Lead, GTM Engineer, Finance Ops Engineer, or Principal Engineer with cross-functional scope.

  • Experience with React, Next.js, and MUI’s tool ecosystem.

  • Deep familiarity with open-source ecosystems, developer tools, or PLG (Product-Led Growth) telemetry metrics.

  • Background in applying Lean principles within knowledge work or software development contexts.

Benefits and compensation

We offer competitive compensation commensurate with your experience level and location and are prepared to pay top market rates for someone who can clearly exceed the role’s expectations. You can find the other perks and benefits on the careers page.

Don’t meet every requirement? Apply anyway! Research shows that certain folks are less likely to apply for a role than others unless they meet 100% of the outlined qualifications. If this role excites you, we want to hear from you. We’d love for you to share the unique skills, passion, and experience you could bring to MUI.

Operator AI Agent Engineer (Skills & Prompts) at Pixalate

Builds and maintains system prompts, agent skills, and evaluation frameworks for production AI agents serving real customer problems.

Mid Remote Posted 11 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

AI Agent Engineer (Skills & Prompts)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote, Pakistan

The Role

Pixalate runs AI agents in production against real customer problems: agents that investigate invalid traffic (IVT) for clients, and analytics agents that let customers ask questions of our data directly. These agents are only as good as the instructions and skills behind them.

As an AI Agent Engineer you own that layer.

Operator Senior IT Systems Engineer, IT Innovation at Spring Health

Designs and builds complex business-critical automations and integrations across systems, including AI-powered workflows, to eliminate manual processes company-wide.

Senior Remote Posted 12 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Our mission: e liminating every barrier to mental health.

Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We’re building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.

Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.

As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.

Spring Health’s IT Innovations team builds the automations and integrations that let every team here move faster and stay focused on removing barriers to mental healthcare. We connect our business systems and look for the manual, repetitive work across the company so we can engineer it away. As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will take on the most complex of that work — where requirements are ambiguous, systems are interdependent, and the right approach is not yet obvious — turning manual processes into reliable automations, and turning what you learn into the patterns the rest of the team builds from.

The toolkit keeps evolving, and AI and agent-based approaches are an increasing part of it. What stays constant is the judgment to choose an approach when there is no precedent, the care to build automations others can rely on and troubleshoot without you, and the ability to move partners toward a sound technical decision. You will work as a technical peer with teams across the company, cultivate the vendor relationships that give us leverage, and help the engineers around you grow.

This is a full-time individual contributor role reporting to the Director, IT System Engineering, and it is fully remote within the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver the complex, business-critical automations and integrations that connect Spring Health’s core systems, including AI-powered and agentic workflows that call our automations as tools and run inside our governance guardrails.
  • Choose the technical approach where no established pattern exists, document it so the team can repeat it, and bring recommendations that carry options, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Look past the request to the structural cause — a brittle integration, a workflow gap, an unclear data contract — and fix the cause, not the instance.
  • Develop the reusable patterns, shared components, and agent building blocks — tool definitions, permission scopes, fallback paths — that other engineers build from, and drive adoption across IT.
  • Guide how technical principles are applied — how integrations authenticate, how errors are handled, what an agent may act on without human approval, how work is tested — and help shape new standards with Security and Compliance.
  • Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production automations and agents, and lead the investigation when something breaks.
  • Serve as the escalation point for IT Systems Engineers and the last escalation inside IT Innovations, reducing that volume over time through root-cause fixes, added automation, and better tooling.
  • Work as a technical peer on integration design across the company and build durable relationships with partners outside your own area of expertise, shaping approaches together rather than handing requirements over.
  • Cultivate relationships with the vendors and platform partners whose roadmaps affect our work, and bring what you learn back to the team.
  • Support the growth of IT Systems Engineers through design review and pairing, and help colleagues across the organization build orchestration and AI agent building fluency through training and shared documentation.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • You deliver the team’s highest-complexity automation and integration projects each quarter, against committed scope and date.
  • Production automations you own sustain a defined successful run rate (for example, 99% or better), with mean time to resolution trending down.
  • The patterns and components you author are adopted, and a rising share of new team automations build on them.
  • Escalation volume reaching you and recurring incident categories decline over time.
  • Hours of repetitive operational work reclaimed each quarter through the automations you deliver.
  • Partners outside IT Innovations bring you in early, and the shared processes you design hold up without rework.
  • IT Systems Engineers grow in capability and confidence through your support, with less design rework needed over time.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering, with hands-on delivery of business-critical automations.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Workato preferred — recipe design, API integrations, error handling — or another integration platform as a service (iPaaS) such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray, or n8n.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems — identity and access management, human resources, ticketing, finance — using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
  • A track record of designing reusable patterns other engineers adopt, not just individual solutions.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered and agentic workflows in a governed environment.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
  • Comfort choosing an approach on unfamiliar problems and defending it with evidence.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and security colleagues on technical design, and cultivating vendor relationships.
  • Ability to influence without authority by adapting your message to the audience, and to grow less experienced engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Workato or an equivalent iPaaS certification is a plus.

The target base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $138,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.

Benefits provided by Spring Health:

Note: We have even more benefits than listed here and below, your recruiter will provide more in-depth information as you continue in the interview process. Benefits are subject to individual plan requirements and eligibility criteria.

  • Health, Dental, Vision benefits start on your first day at Spring. You and your dependents also receive access to One Medical accounts HSA and FSA plans are also available, with Spring contributing up to $1K for HSAs, depending on your plan type.
  • Employer sponsored 401(k) match of up to 2% for retirement planning
  • A yearly allotment of no cost visits to the Spring Health network of therapists, coaches, and medication management providers for you and your dependents.
  • We offer competitive paid time off policies including vacation, sick leave and company holidays.
  • At 6 months tenure with Spring, we offer parental leave of 18 weeks for birthing parents and 16 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Access to Noom , a weight management program—based in psychology, that’s tailored to your unique needs and goals.
  • Access to fertility care support through Carrot, in addition to $4,000 reimbursement for related fertility expenses.
  • Access to Wellhub,  which connects employees to the best options for fitness, mindfulness, nutrition, and sleep in one subscription
  • Access to BrightHorizons, which provides sponsored child care, back-up care, and elder care
  • Up to $1,000 Professional Development Reimbursement a year.
  • $200 per year donation matching to support your favorite causes.

Not sure if you meet every requirement? Research shows that women and people from historically underrepresented communities often hesitate to apply for roles unless they meet every qualification compared to other similarly-qualified candidates. At Spring Health, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, empowered, and supported to Thrive. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.

Operator AI Controls Solutions Engineer (HVAC Systems) at Phaidra

Operationalizes and scales AI control systems for enterprise data center customers, working with TPMs and data scientists to implement Phaidra's reinforcement learning platform.

Mid Remote Posted 21 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Phaidra

Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation.

The world today is filled with static, monolithic infrastructure. Factories, power plants, buildings, etc. operate the same they’ve operated for decades — because the controls programming is hard-coded. Thousands of lines of rules and heuristics that define how the machines interact with each other. The result of all this hard-coding is that facilities are frozen in time, unable to adapt to their environment while their performance slowly degrades.

Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling industrial facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Specifically:

  • We use reinforcement learning algorithms to provide this intelligence, converting raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions.
  • We focus on industrial applications, which tend to be well-sensorized with measurable KPIs — perfect for reinforcement learning.
  • We enable domain experts (our users) to configure the AI control systems (i.e. agents) without writing code. They define what they want their AI agents to do, and we do it for them.

Our team has a track record of applying AI to some of the toughest problems. From achieving superhuman performance with DeepMind’s AlphaGo, to reducing the energy required to cool Google’s Data Centers by 40%, we deeply understand AI and how to apply it in production for massive impact.

Phaidra’s ability to achieve its mission is determined by our ability to work together — as defined by our core values: Agency, Velocity, Craft, and Truth. We seek individuals who embody these values, as they are instrumental in ensuring our team consistently delivers excellence and fosters an engaging and supportive culture

Phaidra is based in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire employees internationally with the help of our partner, OysterHR. Our team is currently located throughout the USA, Canada, UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.

Who You Are

As an AI Controls Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in operationalizing and scaling Phaidra’s solutions for enterprise data center customers.

We are seeking a team member located in the following area: USA or Canada.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Data Scientists (DSs), as the technical experts for Phaidra’s customers. Your role is to use Phaidra’s platform and tools to put AI into production.

This role can be broken down into four concrete areas of responsibility:

  • You will use Phaidra’s products and your knowledge of the customers’ needs to create a model of the facility for ingestion by our product lineup. This will require working closely with our Data Science team. You’ll understand the facility and configure our products according the facility and customer requirements. Then, you will commission and tune our products and assist in analyzing and triaging these systems in the support phase.
  • You will work with the product team to identify and define product requirements based upon each customer’s specification and needs. You will work closely with other AI Controls Solutions Engineers and the Product team to ensure our automated tools enable Phaidra to scale across thousands of customers. You will translate a combination of customer-stated and customer-implied needs into coherent needs documentation for use by the software development team.
  • You will provide ongoing support of deployed products, including support issue resolution and monitoring of performance. ****You will lead the deployment and support of multiple Solutions, perhaps in parallel. This includes resolving onboarding or support tickets by coordinating with the appropriate stakeholders or providing direct solutions. You will analyze the performance and viability of your engineered solutions, as well as troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems and equipment. You will possess deep knowledge of Phaidra’s pipelines to effectively identify and address issues and actively manage risk.
  • You will act as an internal and customer-facing SME on a range of initiatives, including the delivery of platinum support to customers, providing technical advice to research projects, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.

*This role can include 25% travel

Key Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of work experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent.
  • Possesses expertise in HVAC and Data Center cooling control methodologies and strategies and displays knowledge of chiller plant fundamentals, configurations, and sequence of operations
  • Understanding of applied thermodynamics for cooling systems, refrigeration systems, and hydronics.

  • Ability to read and write Python scripts (in collaboration with the software engineering team) to implement Phaidra’s AI development tool for customer use cases.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills and has the ability to explain complex domain specific concepts to non-domain experts and also explain complex AI and ML specific concepts to non-AI/ML specific customers.
  • Ability to own and manage large sections of documentation, fostering a culture of high standards in documentation and communication.
  • Ability to understand customers well and drive a culture of pragmatic urgency and customer satisfaction.
  • Supports peers and helps them to improve their work and does pairing sessions.
  • Independently uses AI tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and support onboarding and troubleshooting.
  • Shares our company values: Collaboration, Transparency, Operational Excellence, Ownership, and Empathy.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Operator Marketing AI Intern at Azul

Build and deploy custom AI agents, automate marketing workflows, and integrate AI tools into the martech stack to improve team efficiency.

Junior Remote Posted 22 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

As our Marketing AI Intern, you’ll help the marketing team work faster and smarter with AI. You’ll sit with the team and build the things that remove busywork — custom AI agents, automated workflows, and small internal tools. You don’t need to have done this job before. You need to be technical enough to pick it up quickly, and driven enough to keep going when the documentation runs out. We’ll teach you the marketing side. You will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing Operations.

This is a 4-month, full-time, contract role. You’ll be embedded with the marketing team from day one, working through a real backlog of AI projects on a daily cadence. This is a build role, not a shadowing role — expect to ship things people actually use.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)

Build AI Agents Build and improve custom AI agents and agentic workflows (using Claude, OpenAI GPTs, and similar platforms) that help specific marketing roles — field marketing, content, digital marketing, and marketing operations. You’ll collect feedback from the team and keep iterating.

Workflow Automation Learn tools like Zapier, MCP connectors, and LLM integrations, then use them to wire AI into our existing martech stack (Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and more), replacing manual steps with automated ones.

MCP Connectors Help build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors across our marketing applications. MCP is how we give AI tools secure, structured access to our systems — we’ll teach you how it works, and you’ll own pieces of it as you ramp.

Prompt Engineering Help build a shared library of prompts, skills, and brand voice frameworks so AI output stays consistent across the team, and help document the guardrails for how we use these tools.

Backlog Delivery Work through projects from marketing’s AI backlog and ship something useful most weeks. Momentum and follow-through matter more here than polish.

Enablement & Office Hours Help run office hours and walk teammates through new tools. A lot of the value in this role comes from sitting next to someone and unblocking them.

Sharing What Works Document and share what you learn — what worked, what didn’t, and what’s worth trying next — so the whole team gets better, not just you.

Tool Evaluation Explore and evaluate AI tools and give an honest read on whether they’re worth adopting, keeping our data security and integration standards in mind.

Stretch Projects If you’re moving fast, there’s room to go deeper — Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multi-modal AI, or more ambitious agent designs. (Nice to have, not expected.)

What You’ll Bring (aka Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a similarly technical field — or able to show equivalent self-taught technical ability
  • Hands-on curiosity with LLMs like Claude, GPT, or Gemini — you’ve pushed past casual chatbot use and actually tried to build something with them
  • Show us something you’ve built: a script, a bot, an automation, a class project, a weekend hack. It doesn’t need to be professional or polished — it needs to be yours, and you need to be able to walk us through it.
  • Comfort reading and writing code (Python, JavaScript, or similar) and working your way through APIs and technical documentation
  • A go-getter mindset — you chase down answers, ask questions early, and don’t wait to be told what to do next
  • Willingness to learn fast in a space that changes month to month, and comfort being the person who figures it out
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical marketing stakeholders without condescension
  • Genuine interest in marketing and how a go-to-market team operates — prior marketing experience is not required

Helpful but not required experience:

  • Exposure to automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, or similar) or MarTech systems (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
  • Experience with multi-modal AI (image generation, video, audio synthesis) is a plus
