Data Analytics Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics at Parsley Health

Analyzes cross-functional revenue data using SQL to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making across marketing, sales, member experience, and billing.

Senior Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics

Parsley Health ¡ Finance ¡ Remote US, with a preference for Eastern or Central time zones and NYC metro ¡ Full-time

About Parsley Health

Parsley Health is rebuilding primary care around root-cause, whole-person medicine. Our members get board-certified clinicians, health coaches, advanced testing, and a care platform that connects the dots across all of it.

We are a mostly virtual medical practice with care available across the country, and we recently expanded in-network access nationwide. As we grow, we are continuing to improve how we connect growth, care delivery, member experience, and financial performance so we can make better decisions and scale sustainably.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics to help us understand and improve the full revenue engine at Parsley Health.

Our revenue model extends well beyond a traditional sales funnel. Marketing creates demand, Sales converts prospective members, Member Experience influences engagement and retention, clinician capacity affects how much care we can deliver, and billing and collections determine how effectively that care translates into revenue.

This person will look across that entire system.

You will help us understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what we should do next. That means digging into the data, reconciling situations where different teams or metrics are telling different stories, challenging assumptions, improving forecasts and reporting, and bringing the right people together when an issue crosses functional lines.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You should be highly analytical and technically capable, including strong SQL skills and enough understanding of modern data infrastructure to investigate when the numbers do not look right. You do not need to be a data engineer. Deeper backend and infrastructure work will be supported by our Technology team and specialized partners.

The role reports to Finance, with a strong dotted-line partnership to the CTO, and works closely with nearly all department leaders.

This role is remote by default, with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. Candidates in the New York City area will have opportunities to collaborate in person with executives, physicians, and other leaders at our Manhattan headquarters.

What you’ll do

  • Own the view of our revenue engine: Connect performance across marketing, sales, member engagement, clinician capacity, visits, billing, collections, and financial results so leaders understand where revenue is growing, slowing, or leaking.
  • Turn analysis into action: Investigate business questions, identify root causes, recommend what should change, and follow through with the relevant teams. Sometimes the right answer will be a reporting change. Other times it may be a process, forecast, operating assumption, or business decision.
  • Reconcile conflicting stories: When Marketing, Sales, Clinical, MX, or Finance are seeing different versions of what is happening, dig into the underlying data and help the company get to a shared understanding.
  • Improve forecasting and planning: Partner with Finance and functional leaders on forecasts across revenue, membership, conversion, clinician capacity, visit volume, retention, and collections. Challenge assumptions when operational data suggests a different outcome.
  • Own BI and key business metrics: Maintain and improve our dashboards and recurring reporting, establish clear metric definitions and sources of truth, and change reporting processes when they are creating confusion or no longer helping the business make decisions.
  • Improve growth analytics: Partner closely with our SVP of Marketing and Growth Product Manager to connect acquisition, lead quality, sales conversion, activation, engagement, retention, and downstream revenue.
  • Connect care delivery and RCM to revenue: Help us understand how clinician capacity, utilization, visits, payer performance, billing, denials, collections, and other revenue cycle factors interact with the rest of the business, including data from our RCM and  clinical systems.
  • Handle practical RevOps and BizOps needs: Own or triage recurring analytical and operational work such as commissions, KPI reporting, ad hoc business analysis, and other cross-functional questions that need a clear owner.
  • Work directly with the data: Use SQL and our BI environment to investigate questions, validate assumptions, identify data quality issues, and chase down discrepancies before they become business decisions based on bad information.

What success looks like

Within your first year:

  • Leadership has a clearer and more trusted view of revenue performance and the operational drivers behind it.
  • Material risks and opportunities surfaced earlier, with clear recommendations about what to do next.
  • Teams spend less time reconciling conflicting numbers and more time acting from shared metrics and assumptions.
  • Revenue forecasts better reflect what is happening across acquisition, conversion, capacity, retention, billing, and collections.

What we’re looking for

Required experience

  • 6+ years of experience across Revenue Operations, business operations, revenue strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or a related role
  • Experience owning cross-functional business problems rather than only producing analysis or reporting
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, automation, or operational workflows
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently investigate complex datasets
  • Experience with revenue forecasting, funnel analysis, operational metrics, or business performance analytics
  • Experience translating data into clear recommendations and driving toward a decision or resolution
  • Experience defining business metrics and creating consistent sources of truth across teams
  • Comfort working with BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or similar platforms
  • Enough understanding of data pipelines and modern analytics infrastructure to investigate quality issues and work effectively with technical partners
  • Strong communication skills and comfort challenging assumptions with senior leaders
  • Strong judgment and curiosity, including knowing when the initial question is not the question the business actually needs answered
  • Comfort operating independently in a small, fast-moving company

Nice to have

  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed technology company
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, healthcare services, or another regulated environment
  • Experience with revenue cycle management, healthcare billing, or EMR data
  • Experience with subscription, consumer, marketplace, or recurring revenue business models
  • Experience using Python or another analytical scripting language

Our analytics environment

Our current environment includes tools such as Metabase, Fivetran, SQL, Python, GCP, Airflow, and Dataform / dbt, along with BigQuery.

We care more about your ability to understand modern data systems, investigate issues, and learn our environment than whether you have used every specific tool in our stack.

Compensation & Benefits

Parsley Health is committed to providing an equitable, fair, and transparent compensation program for all employees.

The starting salary for this role is between $145,000 and $170,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, scope, and internal equity relative to peers at the company.

Benefits include

  • Equity stake for all employees based on role level
  • 401(k) + employer matching program
  • Hybrid opportunity with remote work and time on site at our NYC HQ
  • Complimentary Parsley Health Complete Care membership
  • Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance plan options
  • Generous flexible time off plan
  • Annual professional development stipend
  • Annual wellness stipend

Equal Opportunity Statement

At Parsley Health we believe in celebrating everything that makes us human and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We embrace diversity and are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

The more inclusive we are, the better we can serve our members.

Important note

In light of the recent increase in hiring scams, if you’re selected to move onto the next phase of our hiring process, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to you directly from an @parsleyhealth.com email address to guide you through our interview process.

Please note:

  • We will never communicate with you via Microsoft Teams
  • We will never ask for your bank account information at any point during the recruitment process
  • We will never send you a check, electronic or physical, to purchase home office equipment

We look forward to connecting.

  • Hands-on experience building and evaluating ML systems, including LLM-powered applications; fine-tuning, SFT, or other language-model development experience is a plus
  • A strong understanding of the full data science and ML lifecycle, including data and instrumentation needs, offline and online evaluation, production handoffs, monitoring, and iteration
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, especially when working with large or unstructured datasets
  • Excellent stakeholder leadership — able to turn evidence into clear recommendations, educate different audiences, and influence or challenge decisions without formal authority
  • Sound judgment when balancing near-term product delivery with deeper research and technical uncertainty
  • Experience mentoring data scientists or engineers

Data Analytics Principal Business Systems Analyst at Samsara

Principal analyst owns cross-functional business systems programs, defines problem frameworks, and sets standards for Core IT operations across the organization.

Lead Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

Samsara’s Core IT team builds the systems, processes, and experiences that let every team at Samsara do its best work. As a Principal Business Systems Analyst, you’ll own the programs with the broadest scope and highest impact on the team. These are the ambiguous, cross-functional problems that touch multiple systems and multiple stakeholders, and that shape how Core IT operates going forward. You’ll work directly with senior IT leadership and stakeholders across the business, and your frameworks and judgment will set the standard other analysts learn from.

This role is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world. Your work will have real-world impact: helping keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and keep workers safe on the job.
  • You want to own problems, not just execute against ones someone else already scoped. At this level, you’ll define the problem space for some of Core IT’s most significant and ambiguous issues, and the frameworks and standards you build will be what other analysts learn from.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to keep growing. If you put in the work, this won’t be your last role at Samsara. We’ve built a culture that rewards fast development and gives people real room to master their craft as the company keeps growing.
  • You want colleagues who make you better. You’ll work alongside people who support each other’s work, push each other to think more rigorously, and share the credit when something goes well.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Core IT’s highest-impact projects and programs, from problem definition through implementation, across multiple systems and business domains.
  • Define the problem space on the organization’s most significant and ambiguous issues, rather than solving problems that are already scoped, and advise IT leadership on how to think about entire classes of problems, not just the issue in front of them.
  • Build the requirements practices, frameworks, and standards that other analysts and the broader team adopt, raising the bar for how Core IT approaches requirements, process design, and systems thinking.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and senior stakeholders across the business on organizational design, systems architecture, and process strategy.
  • Manage IT’s engagement with the rest of the business on the programs you own: gathering requirements, coordinating resources, planning timelines, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence: develop a deep understanding of IT engineering, support, and operations (financials, services, performance metrics, SLAs, and so on) and work with IT management to provide the context that drives decision-making.
  • Develop, evaluate, and refine business processes, and propose improvement strategies that scale across the organization.
  • Mentor other analysts and engineers, and help them grow into the next level of scope and independence.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 10+ years of business systems analysis, strategy, or architecture experience at a large-scale organization.
  • Deep expertise in requirements strategy, organizational design, systems thinking, and process optimization, with mastery of the analytical disciplines behind them: data analysis, process optimization, and requirements architecture.
  • A demonstrated track record advising senior leadership on complex, strategic decisions, including experience with large-scale organizational transformation or system architecture decisions.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Excellent influence skills: the ability to build trust and move decisions forward with stakeholders and teams that don’t report to you, from individual contributors to executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical rigor and the communication skills to bring senior stakeholders along, in writing and in the room.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent programs end-to-end, with full independent judgment on how to structure and staff them.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills (Google Sheets/Excel, Splunk, and similar tools).
  • Experience with corporate security and compliance programs: operating internal controls, preparing evidence for audits, and ensuring proper data handling in response to requests under SOX, FedRAMP, GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy regulations.

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff, and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms and conditions. Learn more about our total rewards and benefits below.

Annual Base Salary

$111,265—$149,600 USD

Total Rewards

At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.

Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you’re ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.

Flexible Working

In this role, you’ll lead data science initiatives that span multiple product teams across Stack Overflow and Stack Internal, moving across teams as the work requires. You’ll stay hands-on with the hardest technical questions, guide work across the full data science lifecycle, and help teams make better product, technical, and business decisions with data.

What you’ll do

  • Lead data science initiatives spanning multiple product teams, turning ambiguous needs into tractable problems
  • Stay hands-on in analysis, experimentation, model development, and evaluation, especially where scientific uncertainty is highest
  • Define what good looks like, design offline evaluations that are representative of production settings, ensure proper online product measurement to make clear product, technical, and business recommendations
  • Translate needs for upstream data, downstream integration, model serving, and monitoring into clear requirements for engineering partners
  • Balance product deadlines with deeper research and innovation, using thin slices and clear learning milestones to move uncertain work forward
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to explain capabilities, limitations, and tradeoffs; challenge assumptions constructively and help teams make informed decisions
  • Identify repeated work and develop shared methods or tools where they can accelerate future experimentation and deployment
  • Mentor data scientists and engineers interested in ML, helping build stronger data science, ML, and AI understanding across the organization

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including a track record of leading ambiguous, production-facing data science or ML initiatives across multiple teams

  • Support the installation, configuration, rollout and adoption of governance/metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Purview).
  • Coach client staff on data stewardship practices—showing them how to govern their data effectively and sustainably.
  • Provide input on access controls, privacy, and compliance with regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business owners to embed governance into daily workflows, platform pipelines, modeling practices, and observability.
  • Metadata Tools & Platform Enablement
    • Install and configure metadata/catalog tools in client environments.
    • Build and curate catalogs, including ingestion of technical metadata, business glossaries, and lineage.
    • Define user personas and design role-appropriate experiences (data stewards, data owners, analysts, engineers).
    • Tailor tool UX (workflows, dashboards, search optimization) to improve usability and adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with governance operating models and stewardship practices.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and how governance practices support compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% per month (10 of 20 business days) when required by our clients

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading or supporting data governance working groups or stewardship councils.
  • Knowledge of data access provisioning, integration patterns, or lineage capture.
  • Experience building adoption materials, training guides, or playbooks for governance programs.
  • Prior client-facing consulting experience.
