We’re looking for an experienced Head of Research to join Moonpig on a 12 month maternity cover contract, working hybrid 2 days per week in the office. You will need to be available to join end of November - early December.
Research at Moonpig goes beyond understanding what customers think. We combine customer insight, behavioural data and commercial context to identify the problems that matter, uncover opportunities for growth and help the business make better decisions.
You’ll join an established Research function with a high performing team of three, and a clear strategy and roadmap already in place. This isn’t about starting from scratch. It’s about getting up to speed quickly, building strong relationships and keeping momentum behind the work that matters.
Over the 12 months, you’ll lead and develop the team, deliver our key research priorities, strengthen the Voice of the Customer and help more teams across Moonpig access and use quality research.

Ensure technical compliance, safety, and quality by applying relevant standards, codes, authority requirements, client specifications, and internal design principles.
Coordinate electrical interfaces with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, including mechanical, civil, structural, automation, ICT/BMS systems, consultants, contractors, vendors, utilities, authorities, and clients.
Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and engineering assurance, including reviewing drawings, calculations, single-line diagrams, studies, specifications, equipment selections, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
